Core Committees

The AUHPCS Core Committees provide governance, oversight, and strategic direction for the High-Performance Computing (HPC) cluster. These committees ensure the system’s long-term sustainability, optimal performance, and alignment with the needs of Augusta University’s research community. Each committee focuses on different aspects of HPC management, development, and user engagement.

Core Executive Committee

The Core Executive Committee is responsible for the overarching governance of the AUHPCS cluster. It provides strategic oversight, ensures funding and resource allocation, and makes high-level policy decisions related to the cluster’s operation. The members of this committee holdpermanent positions and represent the university’s leadership in research and IT services.

Core Advisory Committee

The Core Advisory Committee consists of faculty and researchers from various disciplines who provide input on the HPC cluster’s effectiveness, usability, and future direction.
